Sharanam is a pristine residential training facility outside Pondicherry, near Lake Ousteri. It has been developed and is managed by the partners of Gramonnati Trust, Sri Aurobindo Society, Pondicherry. It has become an architectural landmark and is recognized by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) as one of most sustainable, green and environment-friendly designs in India.
Matrikunj is a 43-acre land on the outskirts of Puducherry, where our partner Sri Aurobindo Society combines tradition, innovation and science to develop and promote sustainable organic agriculture. Matrikunj programs educate farmers in the fields of natural farming practices, herbal medicines, and seed preservation. This training institute by approaching the farming in a consciousness-based way aims to become not only a model farm but also a living laboratory for various conscious farming techniques.
